As a kid or rather as a teenager i always wondered why there is not enough traction for the game of GOLF.But, then i realized that Golf is a costly affair.From Golf club memberships to Golf accessories , every darn thing comes at a premium. It obviously then becomes a game not everyone plays.There are those rich folks who take it up as hobby and then are those select few who get into the Pro-Mode.
However, the true cost of playing GOLF has been bought to light by none other than the GOLFING Legend a.k.a Mr.Tiger Woodshimself.For the uninitiated he is to GOLF but Sachin is to Cricket, or may be even more.
I guess you know where i am going with this, don't ya :-)
Before i get into the details, let me tell you that i am huge fan of Tiger Woods for the perfection that he is.However, keeping with the end of the year festivity spirit, i thought a little humor won't do much harm :-)
So, What's the price of playing the game of 18 holes ?
If the knowledgeable folks at UC Davis professors are to believed, the Tiger Wood Scandal of playing 18 different holes ( reader discretion needed ) :-) might have cost his corporate sponsors close to $12 billion.
The professors' conclusion: Woods' infidelity has cost his sponsors' shareholders $12 billion since the scandal unfolded with a car accident outside Woods' Florida home in late November.
Boy-o-Boy , this game of 18 holes is a pricey affair :-) . However, this is only the corporate losses.Mr.Tiger Woods is paying the price too.He has lost quite a few sponsorship contracts including Accenture , Gillette and many more may be on the line. That is some serious revenue loss there Mr.Tiger , I bet you never thought Infidelity can be that darn expensive, did you?
More than that , if the rumours are to believed , divorce might be on the cards too which will come with a 300 million Divorce Bill. That’s a whopping 133 crore per hole :-) ( Un-Confirmed Source ) * Reader Discreetion Needed here too*
Now, I am sure GOLF is not a game for everyone. It is for those who can afford it :-) Tiger sure can , and when he does return from his family-mending-hiatus , things should be back to normal again :-) .But then, GOLF will still remain a pricey affair , so don’t pin your hopes on his recovery :-)

All unknown names are spammers trying to insert their url in their comments. In future, please remove the urls from their comments. I have removed them for now.

Are u talking bout the recent two comments on the post (Kevin,Brian). They did not put in links in the content and hence i allowed them, thinking thats the norm.Their urls did look spammy at first though.Will remove the spammy url's from next time
If you see the comments, you will notice all the comments are general and can be inserted in any post. The urls are not in the comments text but the name of the user etc. These are comments which are coming through some script. Right now, I have removed the url. You check your other posts. If there comments such as these, press edit and remove the urls (site name) and email
